The Photographer Behind Wild Light Lens Photography

Hi, I’m Shan, the photographer behind Wild Light Lens Photography. I’m based in Eagar, Arizona, in the beautiful White Mountains, and I photograph families, seniors, couples, engagements, and weddings throughout Arizona.

Photography, for me, is about much more than creating a technically beautiful image. I want to capture the expressions, connections, personalities, and little moments that make people who they are. Some of my favorite photographs happen between the poses—the laugh you weren't expecting, the way someone looks at the person they love, or that brief moment when everyone forgets there's a camera there.

My approach is relaxed and personal. You don't need to know how to pose or feel completely comfortable in front of a camera before we begin—that's my job. I'll guide you, watch the light, pay attention to the details, and give you room to simply be yourself.

I also believe the location should become part of your story. Living in Arizona gives us some extraordinary places to photograph—from the pine forests, meadows, streams, and wildflowers of the White Mountains to Sedona's red rocks and the beautiful desert landscapes found throughout the state.

Whether I'm photographing a high school senior beginning a new chapter, a family together in the mountains, two people in love, or a wedding day that can never be recreated, I take the responsibility seriously. My goal is for you to leave with more than beautiful photographs—I want you to have images that become more meaningful as the years go by.
