Golden hour—the time leading up to sunset—is one of my favorite times for Sedona portrait photography. The softer light is beautiful for skin tones and can create a gorgeous warm glow against the red rocks. The ideal session time can vary depending on the season and location, so we'll plan your session accordingly.

Neutral, earthy, and complementary colors photograph beautifully against Sedona's red rocks. Cream, tan, rust, olive, denim, soft blues, and flowing fabrics can all work wonderfully. Rather than everyone matching exactly, I recommend coordinating colors and textures. I'm happy to help with outfit ideas before your session.
